1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the OSSA.in platform and its services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

OSSA.in delivers cloud-based administrative, communication, and data-management software for institutions and organizations. These Terms apply to all current and future Services under the OSSA.in platform.

3. Account Registration & Access

  1. Some features require account registration and accurate information.
  2. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  3. We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations or suspected unauthorized use.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Use the Services lawfully.
  • Ensure their End Users comply with applicable laws and these Terms.
  • Obtain any consents required to submit End User data to the platform.
  • Not upload, transmit, or store unlawful or malicious content using the Services.

5. Data Ownership & Processing

  1. Clients retain ownership over the data they or their End Users upload.
  2. OSSA.in acts as a data processor and processes client data only under the client’s instructions; details are in our Privacy Policy.
  3. Clients are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws regarding End User rights and notices.

6. Payment & Billing

  1. Certain Services require payment. Fees, billing cycles, and payment methods will be shown at subscription time.
  2. Payments are processed by trusted third-party payment providers (e.g., Razorpay). We do not store card details.
  3. Non-payment may lead to suspension or termination of Services.

7. Service Availability & Support

  1. We aim to maintain high availability (target: 99.9%), but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
  2. Technical support is provided via designated channels (chat, email/ticketing). Response times may vary by plan.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the platform or other user accounts.
  • Interfere with or degrade the Services.
  • Upload or distribute malicious code or harmful scripts.
  • Use the Services in ways that infringe intellectual property or privacy laws.

9. Intellectual Property

OSSA.in owns or licenses the software and content we provide. Clients receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for internal business or organizational purposes only.

10. Termination

  1. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@ossa.in.
  2. We may suspend or terminate Services for breaches, unpaid fees, or where continued service becomes commercially or legally impractical.
  3. After termination, access to your data will be limited and data may be deleted as described in our retention policy.

11. Warranties & Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as-is” and “as-available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OSSA.in will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Our total liability for claims under these Terms is limited to the fees paid by the Client in the prior 12 months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify OSSA.in and its affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your or your End Users’ use of the Services, any breach of these Terms, or any infringement of third-party rights.

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms periodically. Any changes will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction you choose (e.g., India), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Update this clause to specify the exact jurisdiction.
